Field Staff - Nalgonda

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Rural Community Engagement Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating and working with the community, local NGOs, and local government officials to develop and implement programs related to water, nutrition, and health.


Position - Field Staff

Location - Nalgonda, Telangana

Period - One year, Extendable based on review and program requirements.


Responsibilities:


• Conduct surveys and assessments to identify local needs and priorities related to water, nutrition, and health

• Work with the community to develop and implement programs that address identified needs and priorities

• Collaborate with local NGOs and government officials to ensure effective implementation of programs

• Observe local problems related to water, nutrition, and health, and communicate with the team or relevant government department

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community members, NGOs, and government officials


Requirements:


• Masters in Social work, public health, or a related field

• Fluency in the local language and able to communicate in English Preferable

• Experience in conducting surveys and assessments

• Experience in program implementation and community engagement

• Understanding of local government structures and processes

INREM Foundation is looking for a motivated individual to join its District team for coordination of program activities in Buxar district in the state of Bihar.


Position - District Coordinator

Location - Buxar, Bihar

Period - One year, starting 15th June 2024. Extendable based on review and program requirements.


Roles & Responsibility of the position


1. The District Coordinator oversees the operation of the activities as per the program deliverables which are laid in the partnership INREM Foundation has with various stakeholders.

2. Guide & Support 2 INREM Field Members to implement field level activities as per program needs.

3. Coordinate with different Government and Non-Government Organisations at the district and State level to achieve program objectives.

4. Open to work with other teams/ programs for possible collaboration and support organisation's goals.

5. Documentation of the activities as per given monitoring procedures.


Position Requirements


1. Education - A minimum of Master's Degree in the field of development, social sciences, water policy, governance is required. Candidates with suitable job experience are preferred. Fresh Graduates are also open to apply.

2. Language - Knowledge of English and Hindi - Speaking and writing is preferred.

3. Documentation skills in English are expected with basic proficiency in the MS office.

4. Travel - Open to travel within the district and other locations based on the need.
